Child Safety Standards

Veraz Dating is an adults-only platform for verified connections in Latin America. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page describes the standards, controls, and reporting mechanisms we maintain to keep minors off our platform and to combat CSAE.

1. Zero-Tolerance Statement

Veraz Dating prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation in every form. We do not tolerate any content, behavior, solicitation, or material that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits a minor. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any attempt to use the platform to contact or harm a minor.

There is no warning step for this category. Any account involved in CSAE is permanently banned immediately, and qualifying cases are reported to the authorities described below.

2. Minimum Age

The minimum age to use Veraz is 20 years old. No one under 20 is permitted to create an account or use the service.

  • Date-of-birth age gate. Every user provides their date of birth during registration, and the minimum-age requirement is enforced server-side — accounts that do not meet the threshold are rejected.
  • No misrepresentation. Lying about your age is a permanent ban. If we learn a user is under 20, the account is removed and their data is deleted.
  • No suggestive content involving anyone under 18 is permitted anywhere on the platform, under any circumstances.

3. Prevention & Verification

Because Veraz is built on verified identity, every account is checked before it can interact with others.

  • ID verification. Every profile is identity-verified, which confirms the user is a real adult and reinforces the age gate.
  • Photo verification. Every profile is photo-verified so the person matches their submitted identity and photos.
  • No minors in profile photos. Profile photos may not contain minors — including in family or group settings. Such photos are removed.
  • Automated and human review. Uploaded photos are scanned and may also be reviewed by our moderation team. Content that sexualizes minors is removed on detection.

4. How to Report a Concern

Anyone can report a child-safety concern, and reports are anonymous — the person you report does not know it was you.

  • Report a profile: open the profile → three-dot menu (top right) → Report. One-tap reporting is available on every profile.
  • Report a message: long-press the message → Report. One-tap reporting is available on every message.
  • Report by email: contact childsafety@verazdating.com with as much detail as you can.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

5. Response & Escalation

Child-safety reports are prioritized and reviewed urgently by our moderation team.

  • Immediate permanent ban. Accounts involved in CSAE are permanently banned with no warning step, and the user is barred from creating new accounts.
  • NCMEC reporting. Suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
  • National authorities. We also report to the relevant national authorities where required and preserve associated evidence as the law permits.
  • Law enforcement cooperation. We cooperate with law enforcement investigations into crimes against minors.

6. Legal Compliance

Veraz Dating is committed to complying with all applicable child-safety laws in the jurisdictions where we operate, including laws addressing CSAE and CSAM. We maintain reporting obligations to NCMEC and national authorities, and we cooperate with valid law-enforcement requests relating to child safety.
