I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your account email. We’ll send a reset link that’s valid for 30 minutes.

I’m not receiving emails from Veraz

Check your spam folder for messages from noreply@verazdating.app. If they’re still missing, email support@verazdating.app from the address tied to your account.

Sign in with Apple isn’t working

Make sure two-factor authentication is enabled on your Apple ID and that you’re signed into iCloud. If the problem persists, sign out of iCloud, restart your device, sign back in, and try again.

I want to delete my account

Open the app and go to Settings → Privacy → Delete My Account. Deletion is permanent and removes all your photos, messages, and matches within 30 days.

Photo Verification

How does photo verification work?

You take a short selfie following on-screen prompts. Our system compares it against your profile photos to confirm they’re of the same person. Most verifications complete in under 60 seconds.

My verification was rejected

Common reasons: poor lighting, sunglasses, hats, group photos as the primary picture, or a profile photo that doesn’t clearly show your face. Update your primary photo and try again. You can re-verify up to three times per day.

How long does the verification badge last?

Indefinitely — unless you change your primary photo to one that doesn’t match. In that case you’ll be prompted to re-verify.

Matching & Browsing

I’m running out of profiles to browse

Free accounts get 10 likes per day. Profiles refresh based on your filters and city. Widening your distance and age range typically surfaces more profiles.

How does Veraz pick who I see?

We surface verified profiles in your area that match your preferences. We do not use any kind of attractiveness or desirability score.

I can’t find a specific person

Veraz doesn’t support searching for users by name or username. If you want to connect with someone specific, ask them to add you on another platform.

Safety & Reporting

How do I report a profile?

Open the profile, tap the three-dot menu in the top right, and select Report. Pick a reason and submit. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

How do I report a message?

Long-press the message and select Report. The same reasons and review window apply.

How do I block someone?

From any profile, tap the three-dot menu and select Block. Blocking is instant and bidirectional — neither of you will see or be able to contact each other.

Can I unblock someone?

Yes. Go to Settings → Privacy → Blocked Users and tap Unblock next to the person.

Someone is impersonating me

Email safety@verazdating.app with a photo of your government ID and a brief description. We typically remove confirmed impersonation profiles within 24 hours.

Billing & Subscriptions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Veraz → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com within 90 days of the charge.

I was charged but didn’t get Premium

Force-quit the app and reopen it. If Premium still isn’t active after 5 minutes, email support@verazdating.app with your Apple receipt.

Your Data

How do I download my data?

Open the app and go to Settings → Privacy → My Data → Export. We’ll email you a downloadable archive within 7 days.

Technical Issues

The app keeps crashing

Update to the latest version from the App Store, then restart your phone. If crashes continue, email support@verazdating.app with your iPhone model, iOS version, and what you were doing when it crashed.

Photos won’t upload

Check that the app has Photos and Camera permissions: iOS Settings → Veraz → toggle on Photos and Camera. Photos must be JPEG or PNG and under 10 MB.

I can’t enable notifications

iOS Settings → Notifications → Veraz → Allow Notifications. Then in the app, Settings → Notifications → choose what you want to be notified about.
